Today, the internet ‘is everything’, one need not go far to keep up with graffiti, either Norwegian or international, everything is just a few mouse clicks away and inspiration is easy to find. It has not always been! It is no more than maybe 10 years ago there was graffiti magazines (and movies) that played the same role as the Internet does today. In magazines from around the world we can see photos and read about graffiti. The Norwegian magazine Fatcap Magazine was one of those magazines that were devoted to Norwegian and international graffiti and hip-hop, and it is one of the oldest magazines in its genre. The first number was launched as early as 1989 and has since come out no more than 18 times. But despite its rare releases drawers never on quality. Fatcap is a real underground magazine made ​​by enthusiasts and has been extremely important for the development of Norwegian graffiti.

On Saturday we were at the release party on 18 edition of Fatcap (the trackside issue) by a legal wall at Torshov in Norway. There was music, barbecues, friendly people and some of Norway’s best graffiti artists stood and painted the wall. Line-up consisted of Kid, Lexus, Pay2, Igot, Poker, Acho and Toms (from Denmark).
